The nnexoro Way — who is behind carl
nnexoro builds carl, the AI colleague between office and team. Two founders, direct lines. Lets the day run smoothly.
The nnexoro Way
People decide.
Systems handle the rest.
What we stand for.
And how you can check it.

Two founders. Direct lines.
We build nnexoro because we know companies where the work waits on the coordination. You talk to us — before the pilot and after go-live.
Selim Ruppert and Julian Lorenz, founders of nnexoro
Selim Ruppert
Co-Founder & CEO
As co-founder and CEO, Selim brings more than a decade of tech expertise: product management at international SaaS companies, plus strategy consulting. He built nnexoro so that automation actually lands in the companies that need it.
Julian Lorenz
Co-Founder & CTO
As co-founder and tech strategist, Julian combines deep know-how in artificial intelligence with a sharp instinct for product and user experience. In senior innovation roles at European AI startups he guided the design and implementation of complex agent systems — today he drives the technical vision and the product strategy.
What we stand for
Work should stay work. Coordination belongs in the background.
Work waits on coordination — not because people work badly, but because information doesn’t find its way. nnexoro grew out of that conviction.
Time is our resource
Not speed for its own sake. Time your team spends where it makes the biggest difference: with customers, on quality, on the actual work.
Technology creates the conditions
Better work comes from people. Technology serves its purpose when nobody has to think about it anymore — that’s when the work moves back into focus.
We build breathing room, not features
For us a product is only finished when coordination has become second nature. Until then it’s a feature list.
Intelligence is for sale everywhere. Trust isn’t.
Trust starts as a feeling and grows out of experience. So we don’t claim it — we make it verifiable in three places.
Every answer carries its source.
Anyone who wants to know where a piece of information came from can see it. What carl can’t back up, he doesn’t say.
Every role has fixed permissions.
Written into the code, not negotiated. The technician sees their assignment, the customer their status, the subcontractor their order.
Every decision with consequences goes back to a person.
carl matches, asks around and puts it forward. Confirming, declining, approving — a person does that, and their name is on it.
Four people in the room
When a decision is made over our heads, everyone has a different worry.
We answer all four before we start. The fourth is the one nobody asks out loud.
Managing Director
Who’s liable when something goes wrong?
You are. Same as before. carl makes no decision that costs money or commits anyone.
Does my role become redundant?
Your role decides more than it did before — because it spends less time on the phone.
Works Council
What about § 87 BetrVG?
Fair question. We supply the paperwork for the works agreement before the pilot starts.
Am I going to lose my job?
carl takes over the coordination, not the work. Whoever installs heating systems today installs heating systems tomorrow. What goes away is the evening someone spends typing up timesheets.
Without that trust, someone double-checks every decision — and the whole gain is gone.
The digital colleague
More than software. Part of how you work together.
A digital colleague knows your processes, connects information and supports decisions. He takes responsibility for coordination — wherever it has been handed to him.
He reminds you.
He documents.
He prepares the groundwork.
He suggests solutions.
He makes the connections visible.
And this is where he stops
Responsibility for decisions stays with people. A digital colleague doesn’t replace working together — he makes it easier.
Our idea of the future is simple: everyone who carries responsibility works alongside a digital colleague. Not because technology keeps getting more powerful. But because good collaboration can get easier.
carl is your digital colleague. Built by nnexoro.
What proved itself across companies became carl. What only fits one company we keep building custom — across three services that interlock.

Approach, technology, projects.
Fixed logic. Language models at runtime.
Your processes exist as code, language models run them at runtime. Dependable enough for the core process, flexible enough for everyday work.
Deterministic business logic
Your rules are hard code. No hallucinating.
LLMs at runtime
Understand, phrase, put things in context — within that fixed logic.
On your infrastructure
GDPR-compliant, all data in Frankfurt, no training on your data.
